Ugo Monye is one of English rugby’s most charismatic figures, enjoying a stellar career with Harlequins, England and the British & Irish Lions. A powerful wing and dynamic back, Ugo scored over 80 tries in 240+ games for Harlequins, won Premiership and European silverware, and toured South Africa with the Lions in 2009. Since retiring from professional rugby, he has become a respected broadcaster, podcast host and advocate for diversity in sport — inspiring the next generation both on and off the pitch.

James Chisholm is a hard-working back-row forward for Harlequins, known for his physicality, leadership and impact around the park. Rising through the Harlequins Academy, he has established himself as a key contributor in the Premiership and European campaigns, showcasing strong skills at the breakdown and in attack.

Hugh Tizard is a young and influential lock forward for Saracens, bringing size, athleticism and line-out prowess to one of England’s top clubs. Since joining Saracens in 2022, he has become a consistent starter in the Premiership and Champions Cup, helping his side compete at the highest level and earning recognition for his work in the tight five.

Cadan Murley is an exciting winger for Harlequins and an emerging England international, known for his pace, skill and try-scoring ability. A mainstay of the Quins back three, he has starred in Premiership and European rugby, captained club fixtures and scored tries at Six Nations level. His rise from academy prospect to senior international reflects his commitment and attacking threat.

Grace Crompton is one of Britain’s brightest rugby sevens talents, representing Great Britain at the Olympic Games and on the HSBC SVNS Series. Only taking up rugby in her late teens, she quickly rose through the ranks with blistering speed and rugby intelligence, scoring tries on the world stage and balancing elite sport with academic success.

Geordan Murphy is a legendary Irish rugby international and British & Irish Lions tourist, celebrated for his outstanding career with Leicester Tigers and Ireland. A dynamic fullback and wing, he won multiple Premiership and European titles and earned over 70 caps for Ireland, leaving a lasting legacy as one of the game’s most consistent and decorated backs.

Dom Sibley is a disciplined and technical English cricketer who opened the batting for England in Test cricket and has been a standout performer in the County Championship. Known for his measured style and grit at the crease, he has compiled significant runs domestically and internationally, including Test centuries and a memorable triple century for Surrey.

Josh Hodge is an England international and professional rugby player, raised in South Cumbriaand educated at Sedbergh School, where he was part of the starting XV that won the 2017 Daily Mail Trophy and was named Player of the Tournament at the Sedbergh Super 10s. A standout at age-grade level, Josh represented England U18, U19 and U20, finishing as top points scorer at the 2019 World Rugby U20 Championship with a flawless kicking record. He progressed through the Newcastle Falcons academy, making his senior debut before moving to Exeter Chiefs, and has since featured within the England senior and England A environments. Josh has recently signed with his home club Newcastle Falcons and will play there next season. He will be joining Lions Sports Academy at Blundell’s Rugby Residential, sharing his experience and working closely with players on and off the pitch.

Gerard Mullen is a highly regarded Skills and Backs Coach at Harlequins, specialising in the technical and tactical development of attacking players. With extensive experience coaching within the professional game, Gerard works closely with elite athletes to refine decision-making, handling accuracy, kicking execution and attacking shape. Known for his detail-driven approach and ability to connect with players, he brings a modern, high-performance perspective to coaching. Gerard supports Lions Sports Academy by sharing professional-level insight and delivering specialist coaching designed to raise standards and develop confident, skilful players.
